On Monday, the first pitch of opening day has batted us into warmer weather... barbecue... and baseball. During these days, we will find ourselves kicking back at a game or two, having a bratwurst with ketchup and nostalgia.
At the game, we always hear the guy in the golf visor and the yellow shirt bellow, "ICE COLD BEER! GET YOUR ICE COLD BEER!" or the "COTTON CANDY! I'VE GOT COTTON CANDY!" We might even be tempted by the one dollar hotdog stand. Feeling like kids again, we once again emerge ourselves into baseball's junk-food pyramid.
However, this season will be different. Baseball stadiums around the country are figuring out that their fans have adventurous taste buds. Those that go for the grand slam.
So, let's take a look at some of the new meals that concession stands are pitching to the crowds.
That's a whole lot of burger! In Philly, this gut buster is called the Triple Triple because of the nine patties in the buns. Whoever can eat this in one sitting deserves a medal... and a week of salad.

Holy burger. Wayback burger is new to the ballpark. Available behind sections 120, 135 and LF Plaza! #WhatsNewCBP pic.twitter.com/4iU59KhCdc

Look below at this eccentric hotdog, now feeding fans at Pirates games. It's a foot long and jammed full of taste. See what Darren Rovell has to say about this and some other new ballpark meals he's had the last couple days.

For desert, the Arizona Diamondbacks serve up a new treat: the Churro Dog. Yes. You are not dreaming. This might turn into a nightmare, but for now, lets look at the facts. Down below is a glazed chocolate covered doughnut bun with frozen yogurt and an assortment of ice-cream toppings to go on top of the churro.
As the season commences, fans will be tweeting and posting all these home run meals like crazy. Even though that last one might make us sleep through half of the game, it's just one part a new interesting perspective that baseball games are now bringing the fans. Everyone has had a hotdog in a simple bun... but the creations above? No. Those are unique to each ballpark.
