I have been living in apartment for almost my whole life due to my study and work life. We know that living by ourselves sometimes is difficult in terms of cooking! When we are tired from study or work, we just don’t feel like a complicated cooking.

After a long day, we arrive home or apartment exhausted and hungry. We run to the refrigerator searching for food, but we only find some leftovers. Sometimes your leftovers are just tasted weird unlike when you have it fresh in the restaurant. But, you couldn’t finish your meal and take them home, and you just don’t want to eat it in the next day because it tastes different.

Fresh cooking meal is always good and savory! If you feel like a bit of cooking, how about cooking with microwave? You never know what microwave can be more than just a leftovers heater. Here are some recipes that I had cooked by microwave and I’m more than happy to share!

Poached eggs

The simply way to make poached eggs is to boil water, adding salt and vinegar. Keep water swirling and crack the egg in the right way. But sometimes it’s easy to screw up. So, the easiest way to do poached egg is microwave! All you need is just water, salt, vinegar and microwave-safe-bowl. Put them in the microwave and that’s it! Enjoy with your breakfast!

                 Mac and Cheese

A small cup of instant mac and cheese is too boring with the funny cheese power. This recipe is as awesome as the fresh mac and cheese. You will need just water, macaroni and your favorite cheese. Put them in the microwave and serve!

Brownie in a mug

Yes! You don’t need an oven to make brownie. You just need a lovely mug, water, vanilla extract, pinch of salt then mix well. Add cocoa powder, sugar, flour whisk and put it a microwave for 1 minute. Serve with ice-cream or whip cream !

                                        Salmon Teriyaki

Even Japanese food is possible. Marinate salmon with your favorite teriyaki sauce, wrap with foil or microwave-safe plastic wraps. Put in a microwave for 3 minutes. Serve with steamed veggies!
