We don't get out of the office much in our Austin HQ, so when we do... this pretty much happens:
Normally, when we see hungry mouths, we want to feed them. On Monday, we did just that. We brought the Qdoba, Red Mango, and Pita Pit for the peeps who came to bring fire at the May Food + Tech Austin Meetup!*
*Basically, the Meetup consisted of a diverse group of food/tech entrepreneurs with various business ventures, that get together to discuss challenges and opportunities associated with food/tech industry.
Pretty cool eh?!
With all the brainpower mixed in at the Meetup, Mr. D stepped it up big time and sponsored the event with food and beverages to fuel the creative minds at the Meetup.

So Brent, Jack, and Patrick decided to put together the whole shebang.
Here is the list of objectives they wrote down: get the food, bring the food, and make sure people eat the food... Oh and give a speech in front of the whole convention about what the D does.
Further items on the list included: not causing a ruckus, not eating all the queso, and not tripping off the stage.
Easy enough?
Well, down below Jack is seen tripping off the stage from another recent Meetup event.

So on Monday, the Three Musketeers left work early to pick up the catering platters from Qdoba, Red Mango and Pita Pit. From the start, Patrick and Brent fought over who got to ride shotgun in Jack's Hummer. Patrick ended up pulling the seniority card, leaving Brent in the backseat with everything piled on top of him after the food pickup. (Brent a.k.a the famous "Noodle Arms")
The three finally arrived to the Capital Factory - basically a super nice start-up "Google" type environment. Once parked, they had to make multiple trips from the car to bring all the food inside. It should have only taken them one trip, but Brent's noodle arms could only carry a bag of napkins and a fork.
Once finished setting up, Patrick "the tech man" immediately got immersed in conversation with the tech nerds, and the other two started shaking hands, encouraging folks to get some chips and queso.

After everyone was swaggered out with food and new knowledge, the Meetup was coming to an end. Our dudes Jack and Patrick finished the conference strong with a speech about Mr. Delivery's tech and such. Really thrilling stuff!
What happens when you mix a tech guy, a marketing guy and the newbie in the office?
Overall, it was a successful day - no one mucked things up or pulled a Shaq.
Plus, they got to take home the rest of the queso.
