To our Spartans - Who are out of Bagels

So Michigan State University students, AKA Spartans, do it big.  


Pick whatever topic... 


Big Basketball: 


Another Final Four in the NCAA championship games under Tom Izzo?

Yes.  Make that 7 on the tally.

Big Campus: 

A campus so large that the Spartans' calves are larger.

And the freshman Spartans are basically explorers.

Big Celebrations: 


Big campus, big wins and great fans call for a big party.  

And couch burnings - when the party isn't quite up to speed.

And lastly, a big appetite: 

You may think that all these Spartans are hungry because of walking to class and celebrating wins.  Wrong.  Spartans are hungry because they threw all their bagels at each other during the last Final Four celebration.  

During the party, cops showed up at the scene and realized what was happening.  Slowly, it came to their attention that there might not be any more bagels for future Spartans to enjoy.  (Note: The bakers are making a comeback... slowly but surely)

After a long huddle, the cops asked the Spartans the question that had to be asked:

And they had a point - wah would anyone throw away such tasty treats!  

However, the cops kept it humorous and playful with the Spartans from there on, hoping that the fans would stick to bagels... and not move onto doughnuts.

Present Day:


Since all the bagels are gone and meal points depleted, the Spartans are hungry.  To make matters worse, all the finals are making the Spartans hunker down in their books, defending their GPAs for the final battles to come.  So it's been a tough stretch for them.

But hey, there's always hope - a friend... Mr. D who has been there through the glory of it, delivering them their wildest dreams and making it happen.
