Naturally curiosity got the best of me, and I turned to google to discover that 14 of our 19 current Mr. Delivery markets have restaurant weeks of their own! Some of you may be wondering what exactly I am talking about. A 'restaurant week' is a week (or more) when restaurants in a city offer 2-3 course meals off of a specialized menu for a fixed, discounted price. Most events support charitable organizations, while also supporting the restaurants through good marketing and the community through discounted food!
"Delivery Week" could be that solution. Though some areas run a restaurant week in both the summer and the winter, most only do in the summer. Thus, Delivery Week could run across all markets in the winter, a time when people are more likely to stay in and avoid the cold, thus order delivery. Or, delivery weeks could vary by market: when each individual market has their Restaurant Week, a Delivery Week could also be in effect to maximize sales. Is this something you would like to see from Mr. Delivery? Let us know and we could make it a possibility!
